Hangars 8 and 9 and Los Angeles International Airport

The bottom photo shows a hangar at Los Angeles International Airport, one of two (Numbers 8 and 9) we inspected for asbestos in 1993, then provided consulting services during the abatement work performed to prepare for new tenants in 1995. Access to the buildings required entry to the controlled air operations (runway) area of the airport, and coordination with airport personnel, the tenants, and the contractors. Since access was restricted, our efficiency and ability to finish the work rapidly prevented the need for extra site visits and delay.
