ALPPA's goals are to promote the lessening of asbestos & lead poisonings and to enhance the interests of members by providing:
Advocacy
Asbestos & lead consultants, abatement contractors and the laboratories, equipment vendors, and training providers who support them are the front-line experts working to reduce asbestos & lead poisonings. The decisions of legislators and regulators directly affect their livelihoods. Even so, they were not at the table in government decision making before ALPPA.
Strength in Numbers
The first question asked by legislators and regulators is “Who do you represent?” ALPPA brings the strength of numbers and the weight of our collective real-world experiences to the table.
